Ciao babes! [2010/06/23 4:27 am] With the film’s pre-release tracking in need of some heat, Paramount has moved M. Night Shyamalan’s upcoming The Last Airbender up a day, to Thursday July 1. The bump will give the movie an extra day to collect ticket sales before the official start of the July 4 holiday weekend. OMG M. NIGHT SHYAMALAN THIS IS THE BEST GIFT YOU COULD EVER GIVE ME. [2010/06/16 4:07 am] Hnnnnghjkflkjdfg easy part of Epsilon's redone CR charts completed. Continually breaking the character cap forced me to redo everything comment-style, but at least now everything's neat and tidy and broken down by fandom (as it should be to satisfy my anal retentiveness streak). Epsilon has 80 entries in his main RP alone. Holy hellchrist. never whines about lack of CR again So, okay. I guess I owe everyone an update of sorts. I'm installed in a new place, where I will hopefully remain until it comes time to move for school in mid-August. The idea of doing my next move in stages is still unpleasant to me (crashing on a friend's couch in K-town for the two months until my prospective roommate and I can move in somewhere together... yeah) but at least the worst is already done and over with. On the advisory of one of my new roommates, I ended up taking basically everything. All my clothes, all my books, all my paperwork, telling me to sort it out after I got settled again. Taking a step back and realizing I'd been living with two chronic hoarders and had spent my entire life developing this strange neurotic condition about keeping things is kind of an unsettling feeling, let me tell you. I'm looking forward to finally unpacking a lot of things, not all of them physical, and not many of them as essential as I was brought up believing them to be. I sort of creamed myself watching the Nintendo E3 presser earlier tonight: the 3DS seems like this glorious little machine that is everything I might ever want out of one console, if only it could promise a good slew of titles to go with itself. (Oh, I know, Nintendo is 'promising' plenty, but I've already played MGS3 on a tiny screen and I don't see why I should want to go any smaller.) That's about it just now. Still working full time, still trying to fit fandom and RL concerns together like a game of Tetris on hard mode, still breathing. bbl sleep. The short of it is: I had to cast off the weight of two fail roommates very quickly, which had the side effect of losing valuable work hours, hemorrhaging my savings and leaving me homeless and crashing on a friend's couch for a week.
